All of Foolshine’s music is written and recorded by Ryan Poling (Lead Vocals, Guitar) and Jordan Lecato (Drums, Bass, Guitar, Vocals). The band’s sound is heavily influenced by rock, southern rock and country music, which creates a unique style that straddles the country and rock genres.
Who We Are
Foolshine is a blue-collar rock duo based in Trenton, New Jersey. The band was formed in 2020 by long time best friends, Jordan Lecato and Ryan Poling, who were both born and raised in the Trenton area.
Ryan and Jordan were long time band mates in their youth, playing many iconic venues in the greater Philadelphia area, including the Trocadero Theatre, The World Cafe Live, and The Stone Pony. The duo also shared stages and studio spaces with major acts including Evergrey and The Spill Canvas. In their late 20’s Ryan and Jordan’s lives took them in different directions, and they briefly gave up on the rock and roll dream, but the dream didn’t give up on them..
Our Vision
In 2020 Ryan and Jordan (working as a construction worker and police officer) reconvened with a reignited passion and vision for their craft and Foolshine was born. Foolshine was formed with the chief purposes of bringing more genuine rock music to the masses, and at the same time being a positive influence in this world.
Ryan and Jordan are continually working to become the best versions of themselves, and they hope to influence their ever growing audience to do the same through the messages in their music. Live life on purpose and enjoy Foolshine!
